this bread and Josh watched the game. I actually stole the tv for an hour to watch Downton Abbey. Anybody else addicted to that show?
Adapted from The Cancer Fighting Kitchen
1 cup raw almonds
1/2 tsp olive oil
1/2 maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
pinch of nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Spread out onto the baking sheet. Bake for 7-8 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Fancy trail mix: Mix 1 cup spiced almonds with 1/4 cup dried cherries, 1/3 cup pistachios, and 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks.
